Understanding the Basics of Blackjack
Blackjack, often referred to as 21, is a popular card game where the primary objective is to have a hand total that is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, without exceeding 21. Each player starts with two cards and can choose either to “stand” (not ask for more cards) or “hit” (ask for another card in hope of getting closer to 21). The dealer also has two cards, but typically one is hidden and called the “hole card.”
